Hoist a toast in the medieval tavern!

Wanted! Summer Staff for our Residential Camp and Day Adventures who have the following qualities:

Ages 18+
Love working with kids
Love the fantasy genre
Have very active imaginations
Responsible and good role models
Don't mind being hit with foam weapons
Like to dress in costume and wear scary makeup
Acting/Theatre/Roleplaying experience helpful but not mandatory

Our Camp and Day counselors receive one of the highest pay rates in the industry.
We provide paid training, costumes (although you can bring your own!), props, make up and foam weapons. Residential Counselors are also provided room & board in addition to pay. Residential Counselors may reside onsite at the Charlton, MA camp during week between events (convenient if you are traveling from far away).
Day Adventure Counselors must have reliable transportation to and from the Burlington, MA facility.

Camp Counselor roles include:

Weapons Master
Alchemist Guildmaster
Librarian
Monster Chief
Ranger
Royal Healer

We also have openings for the following staff positions:

Make-up Artists
Prop Builder
Costume Manager
Videographer/Photographer
Entertainers:
- Fire Eaters
- Jugglers
- Musicians
- Acrobats and
- various other types of performers

Note: Entertainers need only be available for one evening each week.

All staff, performers and volunteers must submit to a Background Check. All counselors must attend mandatory paid training.

Mission: The Guard Up Summer Camp and Day Adventure programs provide kids the opportunity to expand their knowledge, develop life skills and exercise values through creative, interactive roleplaying and a positive learning environment. These experiences will enable them to become independent, well rounded and self aware members of society.
