Guard Up is available for your special event!

Located at 141 Middlesex Turnpike in Burlington, Guard Up can host your birthday party, corporate retreat, club activity, or other special event.  Here's what we have to offer:

  • A staff of energetic and creative instructors who love working with people of all ages
  • Flexible schedule to suit your needs
  • Huge parking lot for your convenience
  • Extra large changing rooms and viewing areas
  • Conveniently located right near the Burlington Mall
  • Capacity of up to 50 people for physical activities (more for lectures and demonstrations)
  • Don't want to travel to us?  We can come to you!
  • Courses, demonstrations and events include lessons in Sport Fencing, Japanese Swordsmanship, Roman Gladiator, Chinese Broadsword and various other sword styles and martial arts
  • Special Team-Building and Creative Problem Solving events make skill building fun and active... you haven't experienced teamwork until you try to capture the treasure out of our Monster Castle!
  • We do Fundraisers!  Do you have a non-profit cause?  Don't bother with restaurants that only provide a few dollars per dish.  We can host a special event where your organization gets ONE THIRD of the revenue.

We are also available for educational library and school demonstrations (imagine a Physics class that teaches Momentum or a Math class that teaches Geometry with a Knight in full armor!).  And we can send our instructors to your location to run a special event or provide an exciting demonstration.

Give us a ring at (781) 270-4800 or drop by and register for your special event today!  But hurry, some seasons require advance bookings.

"All of my children have taken classes at Guard Up and loved the experience.  The group of homeschoolers we join weekly to participate in these swordsmanship classes all have told me that each week their children can't wait for the next class.  My boys aren't interested in taking any other organized classes and several of their friends too, have said they are only interested in classes offered at Guard Up. The place is warm and inviting, and the instructors are terrific!  They really know how to play with the kids and teach them through interactive games that thoroughly engage their minds and bodies.  The exercise they get is a big part of why we sign up every winter.  These kids are getting an hour or more of intense cardiovascular exercise, the instructors keep them running nonstop, and they love it!  Thank you Guard Up!"
